Strongid C (50# bag)

A 50# bag of Strongid C 2X contains enough Strongid to protect a 1250# horse for 365 days. If your horse weighs less, it will last longer! A convenient measuring cup is provided to assure that you are dosing the horse with the proper amount. We suggest that you cut this cup to the level that meets your horse's needs. This makes dosing easy and accurate.

Equimax Paste

The plan includes two doses of 'Equimax.', one in the spring and one in the fall. This paste dewormer combines the power of ivermectin with praziquantel to cover any worms which may have gotten past the daily Strongid or to cover you if you missed a day or two of the daily dewormer.

Colic Assurance Plan

The Colic assurance plan is basically a free colic insurance policy that is provided by Pfizer. Should your horse need to have colic surgery, for any reason, while enrolled in the program, Pfizer will pay up to $5,000 for colic surgery and three days of after care. The plan is redeemable at any hospital in the country. There are no restrictions on which hospital you choose, regardless of location.

PreventiCare is simply the best value in Equine Preventive Medicine,  providing all the elements you need to protect your horse in Hampton Roads. There are three levels into which your horse can be enrolled. In the "pay-as-you-go" plan, you are simply billed for the elements of the plan as you use them. The basic plan includes everything mentioned above. You are billed one "cash discounted price" at sign-up. The comprehensive plan combines the basic plan with two fecal exams, a complete blood count and a biochemistry panel. Horses enrolled in the comprehensive plan also enjoy a discounted price structure through out the year. This plan is also billed as a "cash discounted price" at sign up.

The colic assurance program is subject to eligibility per Pfizer. Whether eligible or not, you can still enjoy the value pricing that PreventiCare provides!
